Abstract/Description:
This session encourages an interdisciplinary critical evaluation of the impact of Artificial Intelligence systems on urban space. It introduces the wide realm of potential urban functions and applications, from participatory planning, co-designing, interactive decision-making and governance, to new forms of urban resilience, mobility and public safety. This is an opportunity for academics, in various research fields, to rethink and unfold the opportunities and risks of the spatial implications of AI within the growing complexities and dynamics of a shifting urban space.
