Short CV:
Dimitris Kallioras is Professor in Economic and Regional Development at the Department of Planning and Regional Development, University of Thessaly, the Internal Auditor of the European Regional Science Association (ERSA), and the Deputy Director of the “Urban Regeneration, Urban Development and Real Estate” MSc Program. Dimitris served as the Editor-in-Chief of “Aeihoros” Scientific Journal, and he was a Visiting Professor at the University of Toulon (France) and the Central University of Finance and Economics (China). Dimitris holds a PhD from the University of Thessaly, and an MBA and a BSc from the University of Macedonia. His main research interests include economic development, regional development, economic geography, economic integration, regional inequalities, and regional policy. He has participated in many European (i.e., HORIZON, ESPON, INTERREG, ERASMUS+) and national (i.e., Hellenic) research projects, and he has published many papers in top-quality scientific journals and collective volumes.
